I came downstairs this morning and saw the box. I figured it was one of Tina's ebay packages going out and nobody said I had a package. I finally went by and looked at the box to see my name on it...and it was from Sweet Home Alabama! I can't wait to fill this baby up. My pictures don't do this pipe justice.

Hello everybody,

I just added a brand new pipe today. It's kind of a variation on the poker theme, hence the name "Royal Flush". You can find pics and specs on the site.

Completely handmade at less than a "royal" price.

I seem to smoke this pipe a lot. Just a simple Cob I bought from Frenchy's a while back. I even like the yellow stem!

My tip that I got from Yeko is before enjoying your new cob is that you want to break it in, otherwise it will smell like burning corn cobs.

First char the rim gently over an open flame. I used the gas stove for this, until it is a dark colour. Then you get your favourite easy burning blend and smoke several bowls of it, trying to smoke each bowl down from top ...

Luego de varias pipas en Bambú, Limón, Durazno y alguna otra madera,

decidí que ya podía intentar con el brezo

Esta pipa fuma muy bien, me agradan las boquillas largas

Con un mal traductor:

I share with you my first briar pipe

After several bamboo pipes, Lemon, Peach and other wood

I decided I could try and heather

This pipe smokes very well, I like long nozzles (stem)

After some spring cleaning, and moving some wall mounted pics and such around, I made a big space to consolidate my pipes into a rack, thus ridding myself of the many stands I have.

I ended up buying a 36 open hole pipe rack that I plan to wall mount.

This is a pipe that I found at an Antique Mall. Never saw or had a Kaywoodie before. It was in pretty good shape so I cleaned it up a little. It has the "screw style" style stem:

The markings are:

DRINKLESS KAYWOODIE

MADE IN ENGLAND

83B

It's surprisingly sturdy and I love the shape.

I thought I posted a couple of Rad's pics here. Or mine. But I cannot find them. So here are a couple I found of my pipe. Wonderous shape. Smokes everything so very well. Mostly English. But a lot of burley and Virginia blends.

Guess I'll do this as 2 posts, first one is pipes that I gifted to friends & fellow pipe smokers. Most thought they were just getting tobacco samples but I threw in a pipe of mine I thought they would like. Second post is on pipes that I've kept.

My 1st pipe was from a B&M that I ended up gifting to my wicked step mother who likes it

My 2nd pipe a Winslow Crown freehand got stolen or I forgot who I gave it to, don't have a picture of it.

My 3rd pipe was a Phillip ...

While I was in Chicago I was able to add three of Adam Davidson's pipes to my collection. Adam is one of my favorite younger artisans and you'll see why when you take a gander at his work picture below.

The first piece is a black-bamboo shanked apple that weighs in at a negligible 17 grams. I have fingers that weigh more than this. The blast is really interesting; it looks like the pipe was blown out of the end of the bamboo shank.

The second pipe is a piece Adam has dubbed "The ...
