Just wanted to say hello and all that jazz. I am 33 and started smoking a pipe about 6 months ago. I enjoy Pipe forums so I can learn more about this hobby I have come to love.

Welcome, Duncan. You found a great group here. Enjoy your time here.

What part of NJ are you from? We (NY Pipe Club) have a few members from NJ (Princeton area) who regularly attend NY Pipe Club meetings (second Tues. of every month) and I would extend a welcome to you to join us! If you live anywhere near the NYC vicinity you should try to join us. If it is more convenient, there is also a group of Jersey pipe smokers who meet the second Thurs. of every month at JR Cigar in Whippany.

It's always good to meet up with fellow pipe smokers!

Enjoy!

Lou

SkauKatt,

I am in Phillipsburg NJ, it is on the PA border just south of the Del Water Gap. NY is about a 2 hr haul for me and depending on traffic could be an all day affair. Have to see how far Whippany is might make it to one of theirs.

You're right that's way too far unless you make for a day in the city and an evening with us (you'd get home pretty late though)! Whippany would be a trip as well but it would take about an hour off your commute.
