Recently I have been smoking a 50/50 blend of PA and Bald Headed Teacher. I'm generally Latakia averse, but I find the nose of BHT wonderful and the smoke is occasionally very fine to my taste. Not always, though. Mixing in a half measure of PA, a favorite, seems to enhance both. For other home brewed blends I usually do a layered parfait, but just tossing PA and BHT together really hits home. Has anyone else tried this?

Have not tried, but sounds intriguing. Haven't mixed in a long time, but hearing all this talk about Virginias has me thinking about getting some bulk VA and doing a 50/50 or 70/30 mix with my PA.
