| I received my copy of this book in the mail the other day. I am finding it to be a VERY enjoyable read... one that I will take my time with... and probably re-read many times.
The book is a collection of Marc's articles and stories in various pipe pubs. Some I have read before and others are new to me... all are worth multiple perusals. He paints excellent pictures of life in a town that has been on hard times since the textile mills pulled out.
Marc writes as one of the citizens (which he is)...
I envy his skill as a writer! |

| Marc's book is a great read and it holds many feelings of growing up in similar circumstances and locales for me. Truly some of the finest short stories about new england life and including pipes and tobaccos in each instance. I look forward to more of his talent and colorful writing. Doc |
