An impressively long and very well-written account that delves -- in depth and in detail -- into the rammifications of two points that, by now, are inarguable :
1) Corporate news media are in their death throes.
2) As they've sunk -- in readership, staff size, revenue and credibility -- internet news/issues blogs have arisen and replaced them.
It treats a lot of conclusions as self-evident that someone so inclined could probably object to. But they are so well backed up by links to supporting data that they'd be tough to deny.
