PostSubject: Pre-Transition Barling Questions   Sun Feb 06, 2011 11:57 am

I came across two great pre-trans barlings, one with a silver band with EB and WB stamped on it. Neither has any model number on it, but the Barlings is in an arch over the word make. Both have Ye Old Wood and one is EXEL(banded) other is EL. Both are stamped T.V.F. Needless to say when I saw these on a table full of caked up Jud's and mediocre comoy's, I nearly crapped myself. Also scored 4 chartan lane era supremes(magnum, bulldog, pot, and canadian), a dunhill 6745, 2 GBD Uniques and 1 S. Gervais figural all for $30 apiece. (look at the PAD and TAD section for my estate auction post)
Any ideas on the dates/value on these beauts? I think they could possibly be pre WWII, which would make them substantially more valuable.
