Come on dude! We want to know. Laughing

I'm still thinking about how you put "sports" in quotes - that could mean a lot of things.

(I have a dirty mind. LOL)

I'm going to be pulling grade stakes level horses.. Woot..

I got the job for sure but I don't start for a couple more weeks..

There's about 200 driving positions in the entire industry and they only come up (usually) when someone dies or retires..

I don't think I'll be advertising where I'm at or posting truck pics though.. Big diff between advertising where your at and what you look like/drive when you have 100k worth of plastic resin and when you have 100m worth of horse.

I'll bet there is a lot less horse shit to deal with on a resin haul. Are you sure you know when you have your cake and are eating same?

That's cool. Have you ever read a Dick Francis novel? They all center around horse racing and are an excellent read.

Puros Bran is no Dick. Neither is he the horse's ass in the truck. They can be found in the trailer, not in the cab. Ha Ha.

I'm afraid I don't get it.

Why would it take one of these:

To pull one of these?

Looks like PB is either havin' some fun with us, or doesn't want to admit he'll be driving a Toyota mini-pickup from now on.

Just think how far technology has come. The West was won by men who rode in Wells Fargo Overland Stagecoach carriages pulled by a team of horses. Now horses ride in coach while man hauls them around in style. Go figure a dream job....

Because he is hauling 1 million dollars worth of not one of them. They are thoroughbred horses bred for racing not some run of the mill "pet" or "farm" horse. The one pictured is being sold for $30k . They likely hire a trucker to do it because the insurance will pay better if something should happen to a potential triple crown winner. Also the reason so few drivers have the job and they look for the best to do it.

EDIT:Hold it thats the new ones with the funky front lights and the disasterous Emission System mnandated by the lovely Federal Government.

You of course know that I'm just screwing with you also. You are by far our man on the highway. You are definitely a brother with the right stuff. Congratulations and stay safe always! And don't take any horseshit from anyone unless it's a thoroughbred and you are paid well for it. On the other hand, you'll have a pile that you can drop on any doorstep with a truck that will do it in style! Just keep your flyswatter handy at all times.

PS You'll probably be driving out to the Hamptons during the Summer months so give me a shout. Beer steak and a swim at my house anytime.
