| Well guys, it's Spring...and a young man's thoughts turn to tweeting birds, bumbling bees, baseball and Greg Pease's release of another new plug! There's certain to be joy in Muddville. Check out the following description: | Quote: | | The name Triple Play nicely coincides with its Springtime release and the All-American pastime of Baseball Season. Triple Play also refers to how the three different types of tobaccos in the blend work together as a team to create a unique triple-flavor-play. Like Peases most recent release, JackKnife Plug, Triple Play will also be in plug form, which is a brick-solid, brownie-size and shaped chunk of tobacco made up of Virginia, Perique and Dark Fired Kentucky. Pease tells PipesMagazine.com; "Triple Play has much less dark fired Kentucky than JackKnife Plug. I put just enough to add some dimension." |
I guess it's coinciding with the Chicago Pipe Show and will be unveiled there...then to the rest of the world.
Assuming that if it's anything like the first plug in the new series...it'll be a home run for sure! _________________ I like 'em large...and in pairs! ... ... ... ... ... Outside of a dog, a book is man's best friend. Inside of a dog, it's too dark to read.

| Carlos...you have raised the specter of my darker jealous nature! Arrrggghh!
Muddler...I'm so pleased we were able to send the joyful news all the way to S.A. Pleased to meet you! It is regretable, of course, that those of us here in the states will be enjoying this new item well prior to your being able to procure it. (see comment above) lol! _________________ I like 'em large...and in pairs! ... ... ... ... ... Outside of a dog, a book is man's best friend. Inside of a dog, it's too dark to read.

| Yes it is Yummy! Had my first bowl last Sunday at Telfords. The Golden Gate Pipe Club was hosting the club from Sacramento. The man himself was there slicing up samples of it, as well as Jack knife Plug. Triple Play delivers thick rich smokes, for me the Perique is not so much up in your face, but more as a supporting side note. which I prefer.

| Ooooh! Insider report!
So - how would you compare it to JackKnife? Certainly more Perique (since JK has none)...but otherwise? _________________ I like 'em large...and in pairs! ... ... ... ... ... Outside of a dog, a book is man's best friend. Inside of a dog, it's too dark to read.

| A lot less Kentucky than is in JKP. It's very subtle in the back ground. I would not be surprised if it's down around 5 to 8 % . Similar to what he did with the Latakia in Fillmore something for your brain to puzzle on. |

| Well now, that's a weird coincidence. I just had my first bowl of Fillmore today and didn't realize that there was any L in there! The Kentucky must be subtle indeed. Thanks for your insights. _________________ I like 'em large...and in pairs! ... ... ... ... ... Outside of a dog, a book is man's best friend. Inside of a dog, it's too dark to read.
