| After not smoking anything for about a month, a big old bowl of GLP Cumberland was probably not the best choice for first smoke in awhile. :-) |

| I didn't know you could even get a nic buzz from pipe smoking. It hasn't happened to me anyway. Chewing tobacco is my weakness. Let me get a pinch of that and I'm woozy like you wouldn't believe. Dizzy, cold sweats, slimy spit... Eugh, no thanks |

| The only time I go into the danger zone is when I challenge myself with SG Brown or Black twist. This is known to produce symptoms starting with elevated pulse, heart rate, breathing, and then followed closely by cold sweats, cold extremities, and then finally a rush to the bog for an involuntary evacuation of the guts! All else doesn't seem to affect me as much, nor do I gravitate towards blends high in Lady N. YMMV as always...... |

| Ditto on the G&H twists, and add Five Brothers to the list too. Very suited to pipes with small bowls. |

| It's almost hillarious how much peoples' body chemistry varies. I smoked 5 Bros., Weyman's and Cutty Pipe for years as roll-your-owns. And Embarcadero, that some others seem to find formidable, comes across here as a light and airy smoke -- diaphanous. But Laurel Heights kicked my dupa up around my throat. Every freaking time 'til the tin was gone. Go figure. |

| The ropes and Five Brothers can drop me in nic-land if I'm not careful. None of GLP's offerings ever do.

| Sounds like some take it or leave it blends. I'm of the opinion that they are spoilers to be left to those who enjoy bog evacuations. I'm certainly not one of them. |

Interesting. I've been smoking that over the past few nights and it's as tame as a kitten to me. Go figure.

| Am a retired cigarette-smoker, nothing really stuns me nicotine-wise. Untill I tried Semois; Walloon tobacco grown and sold only in Belgium. This stuff hit me like a sledgehammer. Had to sit down and take my pulse.
Can't really compare this to any of the better-known leafs; it's inelegant, harsh, but very natural; more of a blending tobacco. http://www.tobaccoreviews.com/blend_detail.cfm?ALPHA=H&TID=2336 |

| Quite a few cigars give me a serious nicotine buzz. I tried a harmless-looking cigar the other day (Litto Gomez Oriental - a petit corona cigar with a light-colored wrapper) and that sucker packed a serious punch. I felt so bad afterwards, I damn near puked all over my kitchen floor.
The only pipe tobacco that has ever given me a buzz was C&D Habana Daydream. I felt really light-headed, nauseous and I had a nasty cold sweat. It freaked me out because I had no idea nicotine could do that. Then I googled it and found out about the "nicotine buzz"! Habana Daydream has since become one of my favorite tobaccos, though I stop smoking as soon as I feel the nicotine buzz coming. |

| I had been out of the country for a year or so and my wife picked me up at the airport. We went to the cigar store and bought a box of Joya de Nicaragua Antano's. Made way to the nearest place that served Porterhouse steak. After steak and ice tea, I fired that bad boy up and WHOA, BP: 210 over 95, Pulse: 150 and hiccups for hours. Damn that was good. |

| I've never got niccups (nicotine induced hiccups), but last weeks Two Friends English Chocolate kicked my butt after the half-bowl point. Awful feeling.
