I thought of a good (in my opinion) for our group "Blackhorse's Bombers" a play on Hogan's Heros. We can and in fact will still use the BOB sign though Very Happy

Cuervo...you thought of a great 'what' for our group? You forgot the noun.

I find that when my ideas are running way ahead of my fingers that if I have someone whack me in the back of the head with a 2 X 4 - it doesn't help at all. But I often suggest it to others as a potential solution, just for fun. Good luck!

We're just blowing off a little steam after the mission. Once the next cycle begins we'll get back on track. There's still a lot of aircraft in town I haven't shown yet. Of course, Kalamazoo was also where Checker Cabs were built, so it's only natural that I would run with that tangent.

Maybe we're supposed to 'fill in the blank' ourselves?

Quick trivia, Uberman: Do you know where that plane is right now?

Seriously though, you stumped me! Honestly, I don't even know what the name of that plane is, much less where it is. Razz

My package actually arrived on Saturday. If I would've waited until Friday to send it out, it wouldn't have gotten there until about Wednesday - the way things usually go.

Of course I don't have a high-altitude fighter or a long-range bomber, i'm stuck renting space for an 'Air Drop' using Budget Rent-A-Plane.

I thought it was a funny coincidence that you posted that particular photo. That just happens to be the only SR-71B ever built, and it now lives in my home town at the Kalamazoo Air Zoo. (The local aerospace museum/ air show hanger.) I took a picture of myself by it just before the "mission", but the lighting was poor, so I used the Mitchell bomber photo instead.

You're really deft at altering photos George! I am most impressed! The BoB Bomber jacket and Blackhorse in the jeep are awesome.

How do you do it? Photoshop?

Thanks, E. You flatter me too much. I'm just goofing off here. None of these took longer that five minutes, but I'm trying to come up with something better this little contest. I'm way too cheap to buy Photoshop, but I know my way around Gimp and Paint.net. In the meantime, here's the staff car 2.0. Razz

Haha I laughed my ass off at this. Kyle, PB is trying to kill you! Blackhorse is egging him on and it looks like Emporer Palpatine planned the whole thing. What did you do to piss the Empire off?

I was reading the news today and ran across this link. Just a bunch of recently appreciated Kodachrome images from the wartime 40s. Kodachrome was an expensive oddity at that time for the younger members who might not know what it was. Enjoy the photos, they are excellent.

These photos are incredible! I don't think I've ever seen any of this quality from that time before.

A couple of years ago some Kodachromes from D-Day were shown. One might be able to do a web search for those. The earliest ones I have are circa 1950s, mostly in Alaska. Now that I think of it, I should post one of an old family friend dragging a salmon out with his pipe clenched.. I'll do some digging.

The Rebels needed teddy bears with sticks to help them...sooooo next time, we enslave the teddy bears, take away their sticks and things should be fine. Unforeseen circumstances--everyone makes mistakes. Twisted Evil

OK Gentlemen...the sign-up for a regular hitch in the BoB Bombers has been posted up.

Please refer to the information and directions at the following painfully obvious link:
