| That's a very nice piece of furniture, but what I really like is the pipes. It's a shape I haven't paid attention to before, because I found it unexciting, but those are really good lookers. |

| Storage and display of pipes is a problem. This is a beautifully executed solution to the storage side, but $$$ and, as I understand it, doesn't deal with the display side very well. Might be a solution for the financially fit collector. I keep my eye out for manly baskets that will hold up to, say, one doz of my briar buddies, sometimes scattering tobacco tins and match boxes among 'em to appease the missus' fondness for eye appeal, even in my man cave. Remember the movie "There Will Be Blood" in which Daniel Day Lewis kept his pipe rotation in a Mason jar on his desk? (stems down, bowls balanced arounf the edge.) Well, yes, I have been accused of being of a thrifty and utilitarian nature. Often by people who know me quite well. I'm jus' sayin' . . . |

| I've been following his work on that cabinet and pipe set a bit. I really need to step up my "pipe storage" some. I keep my pipes in a tupperware box so my wife doesn't complain about the smell. Reason #54 for needing a Man Cave... So I can keep my pipes out where I can see, and smell them! |

| Ever see the book, The Pipe by Georges Somethingsomething ... Very good read. Anyway, at one point he recommended the following method of pipe storage. Get a bunch of nails and a hammer. Drive the nails into the wall leaving approx 1 1/2" protruding. Hang your pipes from the nails by the bowls, stems down. I was about to do this one day in my man cave when You-Know-Who happened upon the scene. I admit it's not a museum quality solution to the storage/display problem, but it has appeal for those of us who like to finish one thing and then move on to another. |

| I laughed, I cried, it (they) became a part of me!
As a journey man wood and metalsmith...I can only look longingly at the pieces and honor the craftsman. Amazing work all around.
Really, I setup like that...what else would there be to look forward to?
Good thing I can sit here, working on my new little 3 Pete-rack project while smoking a nice Harp B5 and enjoy both
This reminds me...Pete and rePete walked into a bar...oh, never mind. |

| I finally read through the two posts Neill Archer made about that chest and I've got to agree that it is a beauty. Boy howdy would I blush to see the price tag on it. |

| That is a beautiful cabinet. Every time I hear Susquehanna though, the old comedy routine from Abbot & Costello comes to mind. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=THZV5g1CNZM The only other bit that is funnier than that is the Niagara Falls bit. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nr6VBg1SiYI Slowly I turned...
