Hopefully no packages arrive early, like some have in the past. Usually a few show up on Thursday, most hit on Friday, and a few later ones arrive on Sat.

How cool it would be to have everything hit at once on a Friday... Twisted Evil

Of course things like this are sometimes out of our control, no matter how carefully planned. In years of dealing with the USPS, I've had these things happen more times than I care to count. They are normally pretty close and consistent though.

Well - what an afternoon. I've been Bombed! Shocked

Now i'm not sure if I am a Target, a Secondary Target, simply a decoy, or maybe something completely non-related - but you sure can't beat the timing! As you all know, i've been getting bombs lately (last week and early this week) and this could be what this is.

Related? Tomorrow will tell the tale.

Stand by, Men.

More details to follow... Cool

Well, whatever your status, I hope you got something besides (or at least in addition to) Mixture #79. . . .

Oh Gosh, Dr. T, we don't need to encourage them. Mixture #79 I can do without, let's not get that started again Sir.

Actually it was a Tin of Mac Baren Vanilla Cream Flake and a MM Hardwood pipe. cheers

Good luck with the hardwood -- I think I've had at least 4 over the years, and after a few uses the bowl falls off! I don't think anyone else has had that bad of luck with 'em!

Yes Sir - I've had a few of these over the years, but no real problems to report. They are a soft wood, but once you get a decent cake they seem to hold up pretty well and have a fairly neutral flavor. My only downfall with these, as many others report as well, is the stems being soft and brittle. But - you sure can't beat the price for a good knock-around pipe.

I'll put a Pipe Bit on the end and see what happens.

How do you like the vanilla flake? I just was bought a tin myself and was wondering how other brothers like it. I wasn't the sender of the tin just curious how you like it.

Hey Brother!

I haven't tried it yet and I still have a couple of others that I promised to first, but this one is very high on the list. As soon as I do try this one, i'll let you know. Cool

I will say this: the Brother that sent it to me included a letter. In this he stated that this blend is currently his favorite smoke - so everything looks and sounds good. I can't wait to try it!

I tried it when I bought it but I had been smoking all day so I was a little fatigued. Need to give it another go.

I see you have the i.d. on that box well masked. Good job. But if we see a masked box with about 6 pounds of Borkum Riff around it...we'll all know Kyle sent you something. lol

Other than that...don't know exactly what's going on. It's crazy! Too much clandestine activity around here on this mission...hmmmm...CROSSFIRE...I think that's what it is...crossfire. Gotta be somethin' like that. Weird I tell ya. Buncha yah-hoos sendin' boxes all over the place like this. Jeez! ANYBODY could get stitched. Damn dangerous I'll say that much. And crazy.

I will go ahead and admit to being partial to aromatics, and quite the noob at all of this....

That being out of the way - I received a sample of the MacBaren's vanilla cream flake a few months ago as a free sample from one of the other brothers here, and it has quickly become my favorite tobacco. It's very mellow, has a mild vanilla flavor, and (last but not least) my wife really likes the way it smells when I'm smoking it!

Just my 2 cents. Smile

Yes Sir, Commander. I'm familiar with the rules, plus it being a public forum - I feel that addresses and related personal details are best covered up.
You are correct about the package: if that would've been from Kyle i'd have probably gotten that pouch of Smoker's Pride back. (unless he smoked it already)

Right on Brother! My bomb is going to do quite a lot of damage upon impact as well! Twisted Evil

Absolutely - they're good knock-around pipes and smoke pretty well once you get them broke in. For me they're perfect for fishing, yard work, running around town, etc. Cool

I have two of these stuck in my "briefcase" at all times! If I drop one, loose one, step or sit on one, or have to use it as a makeshift bomb (ht to Sherlock Holmes) - I'm always ready!

Oh... I smoke them sometimes too!

<<whispering mode on>>

Well...it's FRIDAY!!! I'm here on site, doing survaillance on the target's location. I just wanna see the havoc in person this time. It aught to be pretty dang amazing. There's only 3 or 4 pilots that haven't reported their DC numbers yet (and they're pretty much the morons of the crowd). So things are lookin' good. This should be some kinda show!!!

<<whispering mode off>>

Wait...what's that faint high pitched whine.....

It sounds like.....

<<screaming mode on>>

INCOMING ! ! !
