Ok - different approach. Here's the Tamper on a standard piece of notebook paper, next to a MM Cob.

Good one though, guys! I'd have said the exact same thing myself. That would've been too good to pass up! lol!
that has got to be the largest corn cob pipe I have ever seen. It looks to be a good 2ft in length. Must be hell to clench cheers

Yeah - not to mention how many pounds of tobacco it would take to fill the bowl. Cool

2' ? Question That's an 8 1/2" wide piece of paper and it's at least 1" shy of each end! Makes it around 6 1/2" long Razz

Well, look at it this way. If we weren't carrying on here, we'd either be on Facebook or following George's progress on Match.com. Very Happy

Apparently not; just think how much more time we'd be around if all of us could smoke inside where our computers are!

Because, BH, if only Rob had seen it, that would have been fine, but the risk of everyone else being included (and possibly blushing) was far too entertaining. Laughing

Your friend,

Toe-The-Line Incorrigible Weiss

Cool

(...you know...a vibrating tobacco tamper would be a great invention...)

I disagree Kyle I would tend to think, and dont get me wrong I have no working knowledge on the subject, but I think that would lead to an unenjoable experience when a bowl is over packed from the excessive vibration

Think so? As a flake tamper it'd be ace. I have some bacca that when burnt seems to solidify in the bowl.

Granted, it'd be more ridiculous gimmick that would be a historical curiosity after it failed conceptually to the public, making pipesters for decades wonder what kind of weird fixation the creator had when it was designed, but still a novel idea. Laughing

4) Profit!

Here's the fun part of this run. I sent Rob a half pound of aros from the "AJ Stash" about 2 hours before BH released the target info. I'm claiming that as a reconnaissance run. I had no idea there were 3 or 4 planes right behind me. (turns out my tail gunner had a deck of nudie cards back there with him!) I'm pretty sure most of the early bombs like mine were not actually part of the mission, so congratulations, Rob, we all really want to see you suffer. I have this mental image of him running back and forth to his root cellar with one of those British style helmets and and old metal flashlight. One bomb goes off, then nothing. He pokes his head out to look around, then another. After a few of these, he figures we're finally done messing with him and climbs out, telling his wife to quit cranking the air raid siren. That's when he sees another thirty-odd planes coming out of the clouds...
