For you Pete lovers, a great proponent of Peterson's products has posted his last post on his blog. He's been battling a terminal illness for dome timenow and has posted a review of his recent trip to Peterson in Dublin and has said goodbye to the Pete community with this post. He was one of the originators of the I.P.P.C. which I understand is going to cont. It;s sad but worth reading from a real gentleman.

That's a real shame. He was definitely a storehouse of information regarding Peterson and their pipes. He's a real gentleman too. He will be missed.

I am saddened to hear of his terminal illness. That was great that he got to visit Peterson of Dublin, and the very special pipe he was presented with during his visit was a really nice gesture on their part.

OMG!!!!

Say it ain't so.......

I was an infrequent visitor to the Pete board and never joined, but clearly am aware of Sandpiper and his contributions. As well as his amazing collection of Petersons.

Very very sad..... Mad

Cheers,

RR

Sad to think that so often we put off the things we want to do until we learn our time is short. I try to live each day as if it were my last and yet plan for a long and healthy retirement.
Glad he got to make the trip. Wish I had known about his blog sooner.
