The two of you should take a trip to the other side of the state and visit Paul's Pipe Shop in downtown Flint, right off I-69. www.paulspipeshop.com This is my go to B&M, and I can guarantee you will both go nuts over the selection he has and the museum upstairs. Paul's son Dan and daughter Jan are the main people there and they really know their stuff. My wife is very into pipes and pipe tobaccos (although she doesn't smoke) and probably knows a lot more about them than I do. When we were first married almost 43 years ago, she used to go to Paul's after work while she was waiting for me to get from my work to pick her up, and she learned all she knows from Paul himself. He is now 99 and rarely in the store, but she has a lot of fond memories of him and all the information he imparted to her. Your young lady sounds a lot like mine...hang on to her, she is a keeper for sure.

THE STORY GETS BETTER!!!!!!
We woke up this morning, in a pile of 100 dollar bills, (Just kidding), and we went to the IHOP right next door. Than she told me, she wanted to go to the Smokers Club again because she wanted some incense. (They sell incense sticks there that last for 2 hours, and they are damn near 2 feet long, and about a pens width.) She went in and bought a whole bunch. Than she said, "You liked that cigar I got you last night?" I said, "Of course baby doll, one of my new favorites." She walked into the humidor and grabbed two of them. I said, "Oh no you don't. That's your money." "She grabbed me by the shirt and said, "Exactly and I'm gonna spend it how I want to." Than she walked over to the pipe cabinet, and pulled out the most beautiful Peterson I've ever seen. She said, "I'm sick of looking at you with that big ugly Peterson you got... This one will do better. And the grain is so pretty... the birdseye is great!" I opened my mouth and before I said anything she held up a fist towards my face, and said, "Watch it!". So I just followed her around. Than I watched her pull out an IMCO lighter look at it and say, "You like these right?" and keeps it in her hand. Than she walks over to the tobacco, and grabs a 100g tin of McClellands No. 25 Virginia. She tips it over, and said, "Wow, this is from 1999, already aged 14 years. And I know you like virginia, cause you smoke that Sherlock Holmes stuff". I was fighting back screaming, and yelling at her, and tears. She walks up and pays for it all. I said nothing until I got out to the car. I was so angry and confused. She said to me, "This big win wasn't the reason this was the best birthday or weekend or vacation of my life, you are. I wanted to give you a little something to thank you for being who you are, and what you've done for me." I was about to get really angry, than I just hugged her and kissed her. It is only a matter of time before I pop that question.

Enough sap... WHO IS IMPRESSED WITH HER PIPE KNOWLEDGE?!?! She pays attention to me all the time!!!!
Zach
GMF, Judas Priest, you even got me tearing up! Sad You better hang on to that one young man, we're not all as lucky as you

Well my Girlfriend and I decided to go to Mt. Pleasant Michigan for her birthday. We got an amazing hotel room with a KING sized bed, and a jacuzzi in the room. The night we got here, we soaked in the room, and unpacked. Than we went to the Soaring Eagle Casino, which is HUGE!!! She won $130 and I lost $60. So we ate dinner at the casino and came home and went to bed... Twisted Evil . We woke up and ate a nice (FULL BUFFET) leisurely breakfast and decided to go antiquing. We only found two. One was specifically for Nazi Germany antiques and the owner looked like a skin head. So we said Nay to that one. The other one I found a old Gem Micromatic single bladed razor I was excited about because I started shaving with an old one that PB sent me. Than we were driving on down the road, and I saw big bold letters spelling out "Smokers Club". So I whipped the car around, and sped up to it. I walked in and was immediately greeted by a man who smelled of English tobacco and was smoking a gorgeous pipe! I took a look around, and they had PIPES and PIPES and PIPES and CIGARS and CIGARS and CIGARS. I was in heaven. I had never been into a legit tobacconist before. He led me to a wall of tobacco and said, "You gotta pipe?" I ran to my girlfriend who had my Peterson in her purse, and ripped it out and ran back over to him. He grabs it from me and says, "That's a beautiful Pete!!! And it's very well taken care of!!!" He pointed to the shelf and said, "First one's free". There had to be over 200 different types of jarred tobacco and some really old tinned tobacco I'm going to check out tomorrow. After loading up my pipes, I walked over to their pipe section, and saw Savinelli's, Pete's, Grabow's, Stanwell's, Nording's. EVERYTHING! It was beyond awesome. They even had a restoration area where they sold restored pipes! Anyway, My girlfriend bought me a Makers Mark Cigar, I bought a twist cigar punch, and a Moretti MAGNUM Oom Paul. Probably the best day of my life...
Zach

Remember this : SHE CAN DO NO WRONG, and again, SHE CAN DO NO WRONG!! And remember the correct response is "yes dear " Twisted Evil
