Laughing It takes a a little practice to tame it! Water it down with rubbing alcohol or booze, it'll treat you better. (not the whole bottle though)

yeah I was also thinking adding a touch of brown or tan to it might calm the orange down a bit, I know you have a hard time getting different colors tho

Hey Kayle! You are just used to the goopy taste that accumulates in the shank of an all briar pipe. I find that the tobac burns down to the bottom in the Viking also. Rarely happens in a wood pipe for me. "shrug"

I swear I'd be cranking out new pipes left and right if I still had my garage, my 12 foot workbench, and a lathe or a benchtop sander... Everything I own for wood working got condensed into a 10x6 cell with no power outlets... have to run a power chord from the house to my cave. No

I'd love to try taking 4 parts orange and 1 part brown and seeing what that gives me. Dilute it a little bit to calm that mixture even further and I think you'd have a winning color combination. (Or you discover one more reason not to like orange Laughing )
