Getting a nice crowd here. I'm locked out of my laptop tonight but should be able to get the roster posted by tomorrow.

Orders in a couple of days...likely Wednesday at the latest. If any of you lot have recommendations I'm always open in that regard. Just don't feel slighted if your dog doesn't win. Sometimes I go with a suggestion, other times it just nudges me in a certain direction. And of course it helps if you note some compelling reasons. Via PM of course.

Battle is the most magnificent competition in which a human being can indulge. It brings out all that is best; it removes all that is base. All men are afraid in battle. The coward is the one who lets his fear overcome his sense of duty. Duty is the essence of manhood.

George S. Patton
In other words; yes Commander, ready and eager!

OK Gents. We're at 19 pilots at this point. Not too shabby, but I'm expecting more, or course. I'm thinking that we have at least a half dozen to go at this point, so stay tuned...nudge your fellows in the ribs if needed...send a little PM here or there, as appropriate. Let's get this one nailed down.

So...that's 21.

C2Y - Great spirit bro! Really proud of you.

Normally as we typically do two targets I'd send you both names. But this month we will have a single target...one, I might add, that is outside the Squadron. In other words, a civilian target. I think there's something particularly evil in hitting a non-military target. They're so innocent, so unsuspecting, so...RIPE for the plucking. Think of the stunned horror, the shocked realization that they have been singled out and will BURN BABY BURN!

Bwaahaahaahaahaaaaaa!

Well, I don't want this to turn into an 'Interview with a Serial Bomber' kind of thing, so I'll be off and about my merry way. Funny how when you have a fresh victim in the crosshairs it just makes the day brighter.

If the target is a big fan of a certain tobacco brand, should we all send ketchups? Surprised

OK - we're moving right along here.

A comment on the saucy madness that is to come. It would be a sad day if the poor schmuck got ten or twelve little bottles of A1..or whatever. I think we should do a 'Sauce Sign Up' wherein each pilot that wants to do the Sauce Sending will announce the item they will be sending. Once listed (first come, etc.) that Sauce Selection will be considered 'taken'. And No...Dark Star, etc. does not constitute a sauce. Remember, there are many kinds of sauce (local brews are highly suggested). Among these are 'hot sauce', 'BBQ sauce ', ' steak sauce', etc. I think for our purposes here we can limit ourselves to those genres. So no lemon creme or Hershey's, etc. After all this is a Hot mission - so let's make 'em HOT! There was a store we used to visit whenever we went down to the beach. All they had was hot sauce...about 300 varieties. The coolest thing about' em was the names. This is gonna be righteous!

Once the declarations start arriving I will list the chosen sauce next to the name of the pilot on the Mission Roster.

Hopefully the victim won't be reading the thread; kind of spoils the surprise if they know what's coming once the boxes arrive. Still, while it isn't exotic, Texas Pete is made here in town. . . .
