Hello pipe smoking brethren!

I am a new member to this fine forum. Been enjoying pipe smoking for about a year. Spend my evenings on the rooftop of my apartment watching the East Sea and burning down bowls of tobacco while listening to The Band. Started out with aromatics like Sunset Breeze and Vanilla Flake but that didn't last long. Now find my inclination is toward Englishes and Orientals. My Korean Father in Law graciously gifted me a collection of 4 pipes: rusticated Peterson 107, Dr. Plum Statesman, BBB Canadian, and a GBD bent billiard. I then succumbed to temptation and bought my own Vauen Barontini 184 bent apple, a fine acquisition that has become my mainstay.

Have to say that discovering pipe smoking has been one of the best finds ever. The flavors, the history, the solitude and multitude of blends to explore has added an enriching element to my life.

Cheers to the multitude here that enjoy it as much as I do!

Welcome, Psmith! (are you a PG Wodehouse fan, or does the name come from some place else?)

To Dr. T999...

Yes I am a PG Wodehouse fan. It was either Psmith or Gussy Finknottle. I have much more in common with Psmith...I've not much interest in newts.
