I didn't want the incredibly kind gesture of Fr_Tom to get swallowed up by my personal problems in the other thread so I thought I'd post this here.

I was really surprised to receive his pm offering me this lovely little billiard.  Generosity such as this seems so rare these days.  Thank you again Fr_Tom, she's a grand little smoker. I've been enjoying some nice burley in her and she smokes cool and even.  I want to smoke her a few more times before 'christening' her with a name.  You can be sure she's found a good home.

Nice gift Fr. Tom, I can tell from the reply that it was certainly appreciated and will be thoroughly enjoyed. Thumbs up to both of you. This is where BoB shines.

Gee Fr_Tom where's mine?

Haha JOKING of course! On the real though, that is a beautiful little pipe and a wonderful gesture Fr_Tom!
Makes me all warm and fuzzy, and also reassures me that I've found a family of pipe smokers, not just a club.

Hope you enjoy it to the fullest BB, it looks like a keeper! cheers

Heh - Draagha, you were asking about large pipes when you joined, and this one did not fit the description. This is a smaller one I had in inventory. My big ones hardly get a chance to cool down, and they have too many teeth marks...

Happy smoking!

Beautiful pipe....beautiful gesture...and it happens often with the folks here at BoB. ..and each one never diminishes the one before.  Just pure generosity and "love" and respect for one another.  This is the BoB spirit that I have repeatedly seen.

BriarBabe...it seems like you've been here always.
