Tonight I heard the BEST piece of script writing when a character in a show said "... your not a criminal, your worse, you're a politician " Twisted Evil Twisted Evil

The "Leave it to Beaver" line comes immediately to mind (g).

Jack & Victor's patter from Still Game :

Winston givin' it tight to Boaby.  Scroll forward to about 3:30 ...

"if I was Long John Silver, you'de be the first to walk the plank ya wank!"

Razz           Razz           Razz

OK, not TV scripts but quality nonetheless :

The scene from Woody Allen's Deconstructing Harry where he's taking an elevator down to hell and the voice announcement is calling out the levels as he decends ...

Floorfive...muggers, aggressive panhandlers and book critics.
Floorsix...right wing extremists, killers, lawyers who appearon TV.
Floorseven...the media.  Sorry, that floor is all filled up.
Flooreight...escaped war criminals,TV evangelists and the NRA.
Lowest level...everybody off.

For the anti-politico angle I like the scene from The Hunt for Red October when the president's national security adviser is about to ask Jack to attempt to make contact with Captain Ramius...

Listen, I'm a politician, which means I'm a cheat and a liar, and when I'm not kissing babies, I'm stealing their lollipops, but it also means that I keep my options open.

George Costansa: "Jerry, just remember. It's not a lie... if you believe it..."
