I have one coming. I am sure the friend's father would heartily approve of parting out the collection and comparing notes on BoB.

Even if it is an unremarkable smoke, it is still a conversation starter. I don't think I will smoke it in the car though. There is no point in making the local police think the priest is smoking a little weed on the way to the office. That is a conversation I don't want to start.

I have one coming too, should be fun. I almost bought one of these a couple of dfferent times as they are a pretty neat curiosity. Maybe we can get a forum brother (or sister) carver to do custom bowls for us Smile

Hi BC, please make sure to mark the contents as "Gift" and add a liitle note inside the package as well like: "Hello Pieter, this is your gift you've been waiting for so long" !!! Otherwise our dear custom robbers might add tax and duty and handeling fees and and and....

I thank you, Sir!!!!

Eagle has landed.

I have the Kirsten in hand (in mouth actually). I scrubbed it up with Everclear and pipe cleaners. Bowl screwed off no problem. The plumbing valve was easy to get out by hand. Mine was extremely clean. There is some cake and no identifiable odor to the bowl. There are no o-rings on mine.

I loaded it up with Louisiana Red, and am smoking it now. It smokes like Louisiana Red - lots of experience there. You can hear the air rushing through all those metal holes, but a very pleasant smoke so far.

Thanks!

I got mine too. Half hour clean up, looks like a new pipe. Alchohol scrubbing, reamed & cleaned bowl, ready to go. Mine is a J series ( will have to research that) with o rings and (appears to be) acrylic mouthpiece Very Happy  maiden voyage tonight or tomorrow morning.

I never did get a reply to my email to Kirsten, will have to call the retail tobacco store and see if they have any info. I'd like to get a couple more bowls, extra o rings, etc..
