Clue 1:

According to witnesses who arrived to the scene shortly after the incident, there was a dissipating haze of pipe smoke. Being pipe smokers themselves, the scent definitely had the heavy aroma of Oriental tobaccos. Since Walt is more of a Va guy we can assume that the Butcher favors many Oriental blends.

So here is our list of participants in the Murder Mystery. Keep in mind the Butcher could be anyone, not necessarily one of the Bombers.

Hawker has taken his guess, and unfortunately, he was incorrect.

1. Fatman
2. Blackhorse
3. DrT999
4. PozzSka
5. DrumsAndBeer
6. i.keenum
7. BigCasino
8. the rev
9. Hawker
10. WarlockBob

11. idbowman
12. Bluefisher

It's not too late to get in on this, so if you'd like to participate feel free to sign up.

Clue 2:

The Butcher himself has sent me some clues! In his own twisted words, here is clue #2.

A Kentucky bourbon, spicy rye or smoky Islay malt are all fine, a smooth British ale too, but I'll skip on the wine.

Of course! I'll add you to the list.

Ready for clue three?

Clue 3:

For smoking I have no cushy chair or leather recliner, A patio lawn chair, for me there's nothing finer.

I think I have the butcher narrowed down to three prime suspects...

I hope Clue #4 locks it in.

Was in Joanne's the other day and found a cardboard coffin that is exactly the right size for the Halloween pipe. Looking at lining it with some fabric. More incentive for guessing the Butcher's ID.

And now without further ado,

Clue 4:

Cómo te llama usted, you say? My last name is in common with a small port town in the UK.

Ah well, another more worthy detective will ascertain the identity of the evil one.

Aside from that, my plane is in the air, trudging through the sodden clouds toward the unsuspecting target.

Unfortunately, the Butcher called out the Bombers, so only active members can investigate, but, mejoshee, you've been BOB member in good standing for a while, this is incentive to enlist. The bombers are always looking for new faces.
