Last week John contacted me to send me a sample of a new tobacco he's blending. A few days later a box arrived with a very generous plug of his delicious tobacco blend...and nestled next to it was a rock cob! I can't begin to say how amazed I am by the generosity of the pipe smoking community. Thanks again John! This is very quickly becoming my favorite pipe. It's such a great smoker and I love the gentle warmth of the bowl.

John rocks!

I am really enjoying mine. I have yet to try the tobacco he sent. Assuming he sent the same thing, what is it like? I should probably finish what I am smoking and give it a try.

In John's own words a little of this and a little of that. It's definitely got a nice nose to it, virginia and burley coming through. It smokes wonderfully in the rock cob.

This is the description he gave me too. Some sweet cavendish in there too I claim.
