Don't they dry their cobs two years before turning them into pipes? If so the big bowls are a long ways off.

Been searching for a MM Radio (bulldog) for years. As long as they make it happen whats another 2 year wait. Anyone have any inside info if they plan on bringing this classic shape back into production.

Anyone have one in good shape they are willing to part with ?

I've received my order of the new "Hannibal Collection" from Corn Cob Pipes -- a Mark Twain (Dublin with a hard wood insert at the bottom), Huck finn ((small bowled barrel) and Tom Sawyer (very stubby, barrel). I also ordered the Washington which is available in several styles (I got the Rob Roy, kind of a shorter Dublin but the rim edge is rounded) and seems a real value choice to me. The quality of all of them is very good and the placement and workmanship on the draft hole and bottom of the bowl is especially well done.

Recently took delivery of the Mark Twain (Dublin) and 5th Ave Diplomat, both in bent stems from Walker Briar Works.

Have yet to set fire to them, but both look worthy of the MM marquee.

Cheers,

RR

Corn went nuts this year all over the place, I'm not surprised Missouri Meerschaum will likely have a great selection soon. It does take two years or so to dry/cure all the raw materials (from what I understand), so it might be a little while. Though I heard 2013 was also a decent year. Maybe next year corndogs and radio pipes will make an appearance.

Cool
