I got a box... My dog won't leave it alone.  He likes top shelf tobacco as much as the next dog you know.

GH&Co. Curly Cut, Black and Brown, Brown Pigtail....

Pease Jackknife Plug, Navigator.

Pretty psyched I've had two of the six in the past...  Just smoked a bowl of the curly cut.. Good stuff.

Wessex burley slices and the pigtails I'd had before... Both good blends.

The Curley Cuts are of the devil. I just look over at the shelf they are on and get tongue bite.

Jackknife plug is pretty excellent. Navigator is okay but I probably wouldn't buy it.

Black and Brown is the cream of the crop. It's everything I don't like in tobaccos.. Fairly mild, slightly topped with something. But it just burns right, taste good, and leaves my tongue alone.

Pigtail FTW. PD got me hooked on it, then I organized that rally and had the forum get six pounds of it from Mike Rutt on special order... I still have a pound and a half. Laughing

Only read past stories and tales of king ... :sigh:

Pig tail is top shelf stuff.. I started down the rope hole on Black XX, so almost anything not soaked in used motor oil is alright in my book!!! Lol

I know you're a fan of Brown Bogie, too, right PeeB? Bogie tasted really similar to the Kendal Kentucky from GH&Co that I was obsessed with recently--until I ran out. Laughing When GH&Co isn't squirting eu de Satan's Flowerbed on their leaf it's pretty good.

Tarheel shoot me your addy and I'll share a wee small portion of the pigtail, PDiddy won't mind... Plus I have some Black Irish X or black xx I can send. Don't remember which it is, it's in a jar I've been smoking out of for almost a decade.

Kyle I like almost anything GH&Co.    Personal subjective opinion but I think they are the premier house when it comes to pipe weed.

Sam Gawith is a close second... Some of the stuff it's just a total toss up between whose is better

Took me forever to get the balls to smoke that Brown Pigtail. I was convinced I'd find some lace and elastic band with flowers on it once I cut it up, but nope, it's free of the granny stench, as well as Brown Bogie and Kendal Kentucky. I love their pipeweed that isn't cursed. Y'all can have at that stuff. Feel free. By all means. Laughing

That's just cruel sending tarheel Black rope PB, that stuff is absolutely vile, sending some brown pigtail, now there's an act of kindness. sunny

@Kyle, I really haven't had a tobacco as superb as Happy Bogie before. I am a long ways from being a chap who has tried all that many blends but the only tobacco I go back to again and again and am always very pleased I did so is Happy Bogie. Wish the damn stuff weren't so costly for I would have tonnes of the stuff to hand if I were able, absolutely first rate tobacco and there's no two ways about that, delicious, very gratified to know you enjoy the little fellah too. cheers cheers cheers

I like Black Rope. (I watched a movie once where the starlet said that)

But I'll send some and he can decide. I really don't get the 'motor oil' part but it's said often enough I figured I'd play along.

There's something about the ropes. Really honest stuff. Whether the person likes them or not isn't the point: they slap ya upside the head and either you smile and ask for more, or run away like a little girl and go cryin' to your mum. Wink Bogie and Pigtail really are my kind tough love. I love you
