No. But being in the Books I figured he'd like it.
I'm sure Jim's work exceeds this though...

... and I'd wager he knows the artist.

It's possible. Different comic company than were he currently performs his art. The story line is either part of Avengers Disassembled or Dark Reign, I can't remember. The story is great. Some of the individual books have beautiful drawing, some not so much. The art out of this particular book is journeyman level. Following stories across books can be annoying as the normal artist do their respective books. You end up with 5-6 amazing books in a row and then get shocked by the mediocracy of one that pales in comparison to what was just read. I just thought it was cool because of the pipe.

I would love a list of issues from Marvel Jim penciled. I'd post screenshots of a couple for yall to enjoy.
Marvel Unlimited has turned out to be the best $10 a month I've ever spent.

I don't even have a list of the books I've done. Once a job is finished, I'm concentrating on the next job. At Marvel, I did some Marvel Team-Up, Thor, Silver Sable, Night Thrasher, Transformers, and a few other books in the 1990s. I did some Star Wars and Buffy the Vampire Slayer at Dark Horse. Lots of Looney Tunes (Bugs, Daffy, Taz, etc.), Animaniacs, and Pinky and the Brain at DC, plus some Batman stuff for toys, games, etc. Worked for Disney for six years. Been doing Sonic the Hedgehog and Sonic Universe since 1996, and tons of Archie stories. Spent a couple years doing the Spider-Man Sunday newspaper strip.

I've also written or co-written five books on comics and more than two hundred articles and interviews with comic book creators for Alter Ego magazine, for which I am also an associate editor.

Jim, that is soooo cool. I remember how much the Eagle comic meant to me in the 80s. In fact I still have them all in garage as I can't bear to part with them. My father used to read the original one from the 50s which was heralded as the 'news paper for boys', and included the Dan Dare and the Mekon strips. The artist back then, Frank Hampson, had a particular style that I find truly captivating. Perhaps most impressive was his foresight into what the space programme might have looked like 80 years on from his present day. Some of his depictions weren't too far from the Shuttle programme and Mia. Thanks for prompting me to take a trip down memory lane...!

As a former collector of comic books, that is indeed very very cool. Still have my collection all bagged and boarded in boxes, hiding in back of closet since (like Stick) I cant bring myself to part with them.
