PostSubject: Re: September BoB Bombing Run :: September Slumber   Sun Sep 20, 2015 4:09 pm

A question for the squadron,

I packed my bomb yesterday because I had a different sample I was sending off and also another package contained a pipe I was sending out for restoration. I figured I'd pack all three at the same time send the two that weren't time sensitive and reserve the bomb for next week. In my bomb was some bulk and since I wasn't sending it right away I added one of those small humi-packs. It occurred to me at the post office when I validated that the first two packages didn't contain liquid that this third arguably could. Should I be worried about this? Should I remove it just before shipment? Am I making a mountain out of a molehill?

Thanks Brothers.

Good luck chaps. Remember, never fly straight and level for too long and keep watching the sun. I'm with you in spirit.

Excellent news. Then I am more ready than I've ever been to obliterate a target.

It's just that a humipak is really not what they're concerned about. You're good.

Just don't claim anything is in there to make them wonder...or in their ignorance, they will.

Agreed. Don't give them cause to check out your humi-pack; they don't need to worry about it, you don't need to make them worry about it.

Wow! It just kinda hit me. I've been playing with different projects all month, had a vacation in there, kids got things going...time is just streaming on by. And here I am...mission launch is just two days away! Gotta get my crew in here, prep the Jenny, pick the bomb load, stack it all in the cargo hold, do the briefing and pre-flight, fuel her up, check with the weather guys, get the final GO from commo...just wow. I am so behind.

Well, get it in gear and get it on. We gon bomb the bajeezus outta some poor sucker by yimminey. Gonna make it happen! HooAhhhh!

Drone is in the catapult on the Arc, coordinates acquired and coded in........

From a safe distance, we will deploy ordinance with the push of a button..........

OK - following a whirlwind of incendiary labor we be tanned, rested and ready. Liftoff for this moderate ICTB (Inner Continental Tobacco Bomb) is set for Noon-ish tomorrow which will put it on target at the proper time.

If you see it goin' over, don't git in the way.

-------------

Hey, what the heck? I just sit down to scribble an address on some box I'm mailing outta here...put the thing down...look down...and there's this Dawg asleep on my lap. Hmmpgh! Well, guess I better fill my pipe with some of that new McClelland Red and Black I just got in and settle in for a bit. You know what they say about sleeping dogs.

Took me a while ta train him ta do that...but he's purty much got it down. lol

Hey! This stuff is purty dang good. Yup. That'll do dog. That'll do.

Finished loading the payload into the Fokker and wheeling down the runway, awaiting clearance for takeoff.

Cheers

Winging toward the target in my spanking clean Nieuport 17. Just don't let some other Fokker get in my way.

I've gotten a few tracking #'s so far, let's keep them coming!

BH, Timbo; I'm afraid you'll be needing to upgrade your vessels pretty soon. The trusty B-1 is being retired, and is getting replaced with an Eagle...

Bunkers have some trouble deflecting bombardments from LEO. Let's see them hide from this, too. Twisted Evil

Perhaps a modicum of restraint would be in order, eh?

One mustn't lose One's head in a coordinated strike.

That said,

Level the playing field.............
