Ah so............

I get my Pu Erh in little pucks wrapped in paper too. But it's not green. The mint teas are, deer tongue, etc. Forgot you were a tea man and all....

Looks great Eric. "Nice 'n neat" as my old buddy little Dave says.

I was also wondering about the green contents of certain jars, but looks as though you've identified them as tea.

Now, that interests me as I've had an interest in tea but haven't developed it to any great extent. Pretty much a neophyte in that arena. Any good tea sites you can suggest, with tasting notes?

(Apologies for the hi-jak!)

Cheers,

RR

I'll be doing tea reviews on my youtube channel starting in April. TeaNTobacco.com sends you straight to my channel. As far as sourcing teas my buys are usually from Yunnansourcing.com white2tea.com and the Dragon Tea House on ebay are all good dealers out of China.

Following the hijack: Tea can be wonderful stuff. The taste reminds me of certain tobacco nuances, for one thing. The only thing is, I can't taste it when it's hot. It just has no taste or scent for me until it cools. It's just hot tannin to me. Adding milk, honey, or sugar makes it even worse. Am I alone in this?

I think it depends on the tea, whether hot or cold can make a difference to me.

If it's burning your mouth it's too hot. Slurping is acceptable.
