I was minding my own business last weekend and stumbled past this Michail Kyriazanos Rhodesian at Smokers Haven. I closed the page but the pipe kept calling my name.  It was delivered the other day and I've smoked it twice.  I'm in love with this pipe, the shape, size (petite at 43 grams) and the fit/finish.  I had to sell a number of pipes to fund the purchase, including a Ferndown Silver Spigot Tudor Root (that was just too big for my taste) and it was worth every sacrifice.  The shape is a cross between my GBD 9242 and Peterson 999, but slightly more compact.

Superior example of the shape. Love its snake-like quality. Besides the Petes and GBDs, there's a chubby Comoy's of this shape, isn't there? I can't seem to find it for comparison. In any event, I can see why the pipe "spoke" to you. One can't let perfect shapes go by, in my experience, or you'll regret it later. Not to be confused with general PAD, or child in candy store syndrome. You know what I'm talkin' about.

Michail is a very talented young man and definitely has that Greek flair for classic shaping. How did I know this one would appeal to you?

Neill Archer Roan recreated the Comoys "Quebec" shape a few years ago, remade by Vollmer & Neilson. I missed out on that pipe, this is a bit close to that shape, or perhaps the Artist from this catalog page (early 1900's).

I am pretty predictable it seems....
