PostSubject: My Pipe Making Name?   Fri Jul 29, 2016 10:18 am

Yeah, I don't know how else to put it although there's probably another word for it....I just don't know it.
Anyway, why I posted. There's been many, really most that find my stamp, Logo, DBA, etc. as something other then what it really is.
Not a problem and I understand the confusion being no one knows my given christian name so I'll try to explain.
My initials are RDP first name being Ron, my second name being what it is starting with a "D" and my last, as some may know from my return address
starts with a "P". So the initials RDP represent my name and the "P" (not running down my leg) has a double purpose as the first initial of my last name and the word "Pipes".
So when said it's RDP Pipes. This is not a big deal, I just though that some may want to know and it gives me something to talk about here in a post
and it might help to introduce me a little more to you all. Heck, I kinda like the sound of RD Pipes but, it wasn't intended that way. So call me what you
wish (just not late for supper) and when waving at me use all your fingers.

Remote Desk Protocol, Hmm. Can I get one of those to work at my bench instead while I do other things?
I could make twice as many pipes that way.

Ha! You and me both! Wouldn't that be a dream.... Twice the work, half the effort!

They both have a nice ring to 'em...

You could assign the "RDP" grade to your exceptional pipes that are perfect or near flawless.

And the "RD" grade to the pipes that have a pit or two and whatever other abnormalities the briar presents...

(I'll only charge 15% for my marketing genius Twisted Evil )

Well, then that would mean I'd never have to worry about ever stamping a pipe RDP I reckon. Wink
So see'en I won't ever have to use it we'll just for go payment, okay!

I really don't believe you could have chosen another name that suits you so perfectly. Simple and straight forward. Just like you. No BS and it gets the job done. Smile

Fair one Ron!

I really hope that a RDP pipe is stabled in my collection one day. With the belters you've been turning out and if I'm quick enough on the trigger, I have a feeling it's only a matter of time.

Bravo.
