Late summer Saturday AM, tossing a few flies with an ancient Kaywoodie Super Grain billiard and a pouch of Edward G. Robinson's Pipe Blend.

I'm not a fan of the Kaywoodie Stinger style system, but boy did they know how to cut a billiard! Nice looking pipe.

Pipe looks fine. But what did you do with the flies? Any pics?

Cheers,

I went to a spot where I've been having luck with black wooly buggers or red leather worms on some nice cats in the 20-24" range.  Cats are not my favorite to catch; I like things a little more acrobatic and they mostly like to go deep.  But we flatlanders can't be too choosy, and they will make a nice run on you (most of these have taken me into the backing) and they tug and shake like an old bulldog.  We'd had a little rain and I thought they might be up scavenging,  They weren't.  Caught a few small bass but this'n made the day...
