So I saw only a brief mention of these in one other thread. They sold out quick. I was so busy around here that by the time I got home and saw the email, I was lucky to get a couple tins.

Blairgowrie, a Scottish. I like the tin size! My initial impression is that this is some damn fine blending. The tin scent is light. Nothing jumps out. A bit of good funkiness that comes out more in the smoking. This tin was perfect moisture for smoking. The cut reminds me so much of a Rattrays blend. Sorry, I just could not help but see that comparison. And perhaps, that is a compliment. The pipe lasted for an eternity and was happy being sipped upon.

I will try to add more thoughts as I smoke more of it. So, what about you guys that got some of the others?

Good to her you enjoyed it Carlos. I wanted to get Blairgowrie but didn't want to just buy one or a few tins and wasn't in position to place a big order... The price deterred me as well, but a Scottish blend and you're right, that cut (in the rattray broken flake style) was certainly tempting.

Thank God all the blends in that line have Latakia in them!   Mad

That relieves me from buying them.   Laughing

I was gifted some samples, and am not far from finishing my reviews. I'll post them as soon as they are done.

Need to keep this near the top for a while.

Still smoking on that tin of Blairgowrie. Amazing how full flavored it is for the little tin scent. This is one of those blends that has me trying to chew the stem off the pipe. Just sipping away at it. Smokes nice and cool for me. All kinds of things happening in the tastes department. It's a damn fine smoke.

Sold right away at Smokingpipes the first time but when it was back in stock I ordered a few tins. Glad I was able to get some, very good blend and will get better after 2 to 3 years of aging. I find long term aging blends with Latakia after 5 years or so the Lat's lose some flavor.

KEEP ON PUFFING!!!
