Anyone have any idea (gut feeling or hard evidence) on how the regs will effect overseas companies like Dunhill, SG etc.?

Will their products be grandfathered in if they were in production as of 2/2007 like the stateside manufacturers?

Erwin Van Hove, which is a member of Fumeurs de pipe, said that the FDA rules also applied to all imported tobacco brands.

Ok.

Back when all the speculation was flying about, before the rules were clarified a bit, I remember hearing that they may need to submit recipe details that might make some of them just decide not to sell in the U.S. If its the same for them as US based manufacturers then that would only apply to post 2007 blends I guess.

Good to know.
