Took the opportunity to pad the cellar a little (just one each):

Long term:
McClellands GO Drama Reserve
Peterson Irish Flake
SG Lakeland dark
SG Sam's Flake
War Horse Bar

Short term:
1 oz GH Scotch Flake Aromatic
Dan's Salty Dog

I'm pretty well set for life, but I need to start trading/selling off my Latakia blends.

About the same for me but more than likely a little less.

I am very near the set for life mark but I still like to grab some extra tins of the old stand-byes as well as a few new things to try here and there.

At the tender age of 70+, my TAD days are pretty much over except for "old stuff" I find online or at garage sales. I just found more that I had "forgotten" I had. Just hope I live long enough to smoke it all!! Razz Razz cheers FTRPLT

I'm right around 45#, which is really only five or so pounds shy of my goal. In reality, most of my favorite blends should be around past 2018, so I'm not all that worried at the moment (but have definitely stocked up on the two or three blends I love that are at risk in '18).

All in all, I'm buying about the same. The strategy has changed a bit - no so much adding a few tins of new stuff to try out with each order, and spending all of my tobacco funds on favorites that I know I want to have on hand (same goes for nasal snuff).

I can pretty much echo this-

Then again, there is this as well-

In general, my buying has gone way down in the past few years. Still like to check out the new releases but am pretty well set for the tobacco apocalypse. If it should come....

Cheers,

RR

I have to say I've been on a serious bender. TADing my happy butt into pocket.
last year was particularly bad. Most prey are new blends I really enjoy that are on the FDA's chopping block. Some are curiosities. The rest are seasonals. Otherwise, the bulk of my cellar is actually in containers the size of 7 gallon shallow totes, in raw leaf form. I have no idea of the yield weight total....

Am I set? Doubtful........

Pretty much set on any of the newer releases and don't want to try another new blend too also get hooked on!! After smoking a pipe for over 48 years I'm set on my favorites that have been around for years, like my favorite John Patton blends. In the past year and a half I've had 2 major issues with mold in new releases: Temple Bar, Bijou,  and FVF that's been around a while. Are the blenders trying to save money by using inferior anti-fungal agents???  Still enjoy my own blends cheerscheers

KEEP ON PUFFING!!!

I have enough to last me many years at this point. I am comfortably stocked on my favorites. But I am considering a significant purchase of Royal Yacht given the recent Dunhill news.

I only really started to cellar seriously in the last year, so I've got some space to fill yet, but I'm not going crazy. I've got a handful of Dunhill blends jarred up totally maybe a pound. Will likely add a few more before they drop off the edge of the world but I find I can get equally satisfying smokes from other manufacturers, so I'm not at panic stations like some are.

I bought quite a bit last summer (5+ lbs), which is unusual for me. I plan on making a big purchase of some of the post 2007 GLP stuff as well as some of McClelland's Syrian stuff, assuming it's still there, on IPSD.

This will most likely be my last buy for a while. I have 25 pounds of tobacco as it is and I think that is a fair amount for me.

I put "buying about the same" but in reality it's really less but that wasn't an option. Reason being the unemployed thing. BUT if I did have the discretionary funds, then I would stocking up like a mad woman!
