Shopping from Canada means staying under the duty & taxes threshold of 200g, but I could not resist placing an order from SP to take advantage of their IPSD sale.

2 x 50g tin MacBaren Vintage Syrian
1 x 50g tin Sam Gawith Bothy Flake
1 x 25g Kramer's Blend for Danny Kaye
1 x 25g Newminster Superior Round Slices

Add in the 200g can of Peter Heinrichs Dark Strong Flake that arrived earlier this week and my baccy cabinet is doing ok Very Happy

I'm tempted to add another IPSD order while the getting is good. It means paying extra shipping fees but even with shipping the price per 50g tin comes out to about $15CAD. (For reference, a 50g tin of Vintage Syrian here runs about $35CAD. Shocked Well worth the extra shipping fee!)

I couldn't agree more, Cold Smoke. When the same tin of MB Vintage Syrian sells for $9USD, coughing up $35CAD for it is a hard sell indeed. I'd love to be able to support my local B&M with regular purchases, but I'd have to commit to four times the baccy budget. Ouch.

Always hard to hear of your CA 'baccy taxes Charles. If I'm not mistaken, they are the highest in the world currently. And Australia isn't far behind! No

Still, looks like you were able to get in on the sale. Which is the main thing!

Yep. Happy to get a deal even if it's in small(ish) quantities!
