Been over 2 months now. Call Smokingpipes customer service and ask for Chip, he's a pipe smoker and can give you an idea when it will be back in stock. He helped me with Marlin Flake. Good Luck

Exotic Orange? Sounds intriguing.

I keep getting suckered in with the possibility of an aromatic that I would like. Still have yet to find many that fit the bill.

Smokingpipes shows it as in stock. Jump on it before it's gone.

Quick question for you Orange Exotic aficionados: what sort of tin does this come in? At a glance it looks like those big Solani Silver Flake tins that don't actually have a seal--is that right, or does it actually have a vacuum seal?

It comes in a tin that does not have a seal. Into the mason jar it goes.

Yup, absolutely no seal.... Tin is 'closed' Inside it the cellophanish bag closed like buying coffee beans. Folded over a few times and taped...

Jar it! Very Happy

Thanks, guys! Glad I asked before pulling the trigger--long story short, due to stupid laws I can't mail order anything out here in Washington, so anything I might wanna order online would end up waiting a while for a future out-of-state family visit...fine and good for most tins, but obviously not all. Will watch the skies closer to my next trip and hope the unobtanium gods smile on me!

Wow. This stuff is well-named. It's orange and it's exotic. Stunning in its taste and incense-like scent. I use "incense" only because I can't think of a more descriptive word. Incense I associate with unwashed hippies; this stuff is more evocative of The Arabian Nights. The room note is exactly like the smell and taste of the tobacco in and out of the can, lit and unlit. Amazingly it tastes like good tobacco underlying the olfactory fireworks. I can't recall a more domineering scent in a blend that doesn't immediately revolt, unless it might the original Borkum Riff--not that they're similar. Yes, it has orange, and vanilla, and maybe maple, and maybe some kind of liqueur or liqueurs, but there's something else that puts this in another category of aromatic. I'm thinkin' it might be cloves. Orange and cloves: that's how I'll remember it in the hard drive atop my shoulders. I've only come across cloves in one other blend, something sold by McCrainie's, and I can't remember its name. I like it, but not as tobacco, if that makes sense. I will continue to smoke it once in a while, just for its preposterousness, if nothing else.
