Is a death in the family just cause to pop a new tin. I have pondered on it, wanted some options. Grandpa was put in the ground today my best friend, my hero. The man thought me everything I know about engine's, he got me my first motorcycle, and was a awsome man.

Absolutely my friend. Open a tin of your finest and toast to his memory. My deepest condolences on your loss. I'll burn a bowl tonight in his honor.

Very sorry for your loss, was a sad day but now sit down and reflect on all the good times you both enjoyed together. By all means pop a tin of your favorite tobacco and smoke a few bowls in his honor. He's in Gods hands now and may he Rest In Peace for all Eternity.

Travis

It's evident that your grandpa Ty figure large in your life. I raise a bowl to him tonight.

May his memory and influences live on in you for all time. Teach your children in his wise ways.

Circle of life.

Cheers,

RR

Sorry to learn of your loss Arky. He sounded like a great influence in your life. Some wonderful memories there, eh?

Yup, pop that tin. I couldn't think of a better reason.

I'll think of him during my next bowl.

No cheers.

Just had a friend I have known since high school pass away two weeks ago.   They read some of his notebook he kept at hospice.  I wish I could remember all of them.   Two that stood out were:

  • Smiles are contagious
  • Kindness is free

My condolences to you sir!

I just think about the fact he was born in 1925. Think how much he has seen and seen change. His first car was a A model ford with rumble seats in the back. When it was to wet to drive it or snowing they used horse and buggy. There where no tractors until late later so he plowed the fields with a mule team and a one bottom plow. There where no manuer spreaders so he had to invent one, he  actually invinted one of the first manuer spreaders ever but did not get a patent. His first tractor was a John deer A I think ill look that up. How life has changed.
