A thrilling day for me. Two tubs of Edgeworth Ready Rubbed, a block of Wessex Gold Brick, a few ounces of Park Lane Connoisseur, about an ounce of Steven Books' Seven of Nine, and 4 ounces of Yorktown. Never thought I'd see the day when I would have a couple of tubs of ERR, especially at such a reasonable price. Very Happy

Many grateful thanks to Blackhorse for everything but the Yorktown.

Sounds like the makings for a damn fine TAD day, it's a shame those beloved tobacco's have been discontinued.

Thanks, fellas. Blackhorse sure took good care of me here, and I appreciate his kindness. You're a good man, too, BH.

Jim, how long do you recommend aging Yorktown? I liked it fresh but it was still a little rough. I tried at 2 years (which is what I try to get all VA blends to before digging in) and it very good but still needed some smoothing. Is this going to ever settle down, or is that just the nature of the beast with this one?

I agree it's a little rough when fresh. I have not tried it aged, so I have no experience on that. But, if it still had a little roughness, I'd check it out again in two or three years.
