Just a few little items...

Dark Bird's Eye 4oz bulk
Kendal Gold 500g
Five Brothers 2 packs
Le Petit Robin 100g pack

It should hold me for a bit.

Are you going to do any blending with them?

Sounds like a nice batch of stuff there! Wasn't it you that recommended the Dark Bird's eye? Was that GH&Co?

Yes, yes and yes.

I might not blend the little robin. Kinda pricey. But then again I just might. It's destined for RYO trials.

The GH & Co. Kendal Gold is also pricey...but perhaps the most highly regarded RYO blend anywhere. Even higher than D&R 5 Sails, which is saying a lot.

The 5 Bros...for sure. It goes in a blend. 5 parts D&R Five Sails (English Virginia shag) + 1 part D&R Ramback (Turkish/Oriental ribbon) + 1 part 5 Brothers (Burley shag)...and is a RYO blend...my own...very tasty...uber high quality.

The Dark Birdseye? Just felt the need.

I just tried that Petit Robin and really liked it, maybe even more than the other Manil Semois. Good stuff, hope you dig it (if you haven't already).

Gramps - maybe I've just missed you here and there, but I haven't noticed you hanging around here for a while. It's good to see you back. Welcome home.

Thanks, boss, it's good to be back! I was indeed off the grid for a good long time there but now that life is settling down I'm hoping to be around more. Of course, I say that and just landed a major project that's going to suck up all my free time for a while, but such is life--and a lot of work is always better than not enough!

Also, I've relocated to Seattle, so next time I make it south of the Columbia I'll letcha know and maybe we can (gently) knock briars at Rich's or something.
