Well the Smoky Mountain Custom General took a good portion of my day, and several outings, to finish.

Now keeping it smokey with some 1940 Blue Boar tobacco I was gifted in a customized MM Country Gentleman with three knuckle bamboo shank and blue and white swirl Lucite stem.

Long cool stem makes for nice dry smoke! The blue stem is a nice touch...

Blue Boar was something I would see from time to time in the grocery store. I would always pick up a pouch when I saw it. Does it benefit from age? There was a slightly edgy, "rough" quality to it that was part of the charm fresh.

FWIW, Morley's Best scratches that itch for me these days. American Heritage is Close as well, but I like Morley's Best more. I am currently out of Morley's Best, but I have some American Heritage that might be calling to me. Right now ODF in a Barling large billiard is hitting the spot.

Fr_Tom pretty much nailed it and it seems it still is a bit edgy and rough even after 40 years.
