Can't go wrong with a Jesse Jones pipe, and that one hits it outta the ballpark!

I love you

Cheers,

That's a great feeling when a pipe just speaks to you, isn't it? He's quite the talented pipe maker, that Jesse Jones! One day I will set aside the resources to secure one of his pipes myself. Beautiful pipe Banjo, may it help you to always keep it smokey

Beautiful pipe! I especially like the muscular, "dirty" look of the bamboo.  It strongly reminds me of the bamboo on a gorgeous Jerry Zenn smooth apple with 4 knuckle straight bamboo pipe I recently purchased which I've been enjoying every chance I can.

Glad you like it so far. I'm sure you've noticed that the bamboo also detaches from the bowl as well as from the stem. Many pipe makers "double drill" in order to achieve the bend. I hate doing that because it can cause issues down the road if the draft hole becomes occluded. Whenever I can I opt for them to come apart for easy maintenance.

I was happily surprised to find the shank removed from the bowl as well as the stem from the shank, I own two vintage ones made this way and to me it made more sense to do this and never gave a thought that double drilling could cause occlusion but now that you've stated as such it too makes sense, I truly love this pipe Jesse, kudos.
