I first saw a similar pipe as this one made by Pipemaker Wayne Teipen listed as a Blasted Billiard with silver ring and natural Briar stem. I did a double take and read the report given by the owner and I then contacted Wayne and asked if this was an inventory item or a commission. Wayne told me he made them occasionally when requested so I requested he make me one and he did.

It wasn't until after I owned the pipe I found out it had been done already years ago by Kaywoodie and they called it the All Briar and I added one of those to my racks as well. Still smoking F&T Virginia Mixture and keeping it smokey.

Now that's an all briar, been years since I've seen one. The ring makes the contrasting colors stand out.

KEEP ON PUFFING!!!
