From a friend who could not resist a huge pipe sale. He was traveling with his wife through Italy and noticed a Pipe/Tobacco shop near Milan that had a sign in the window " ALL PIPES 50% OFF ". So, he figured what the heck I'll take a look. Well besides purchasing 3 pipes for himself he bought me an early gift @ 60% off because he purchased 4 pipes in total.
Just received a picture of the pipe.

It's a Savinelli Punto Oro Classic Natural - 320 KS. He said " the pipe looks much better in hand "! Now I can't wait to smoke it, perfect pipe for clenching. I own a Trevi and enjoy smoking it!!

Just beautiful briar in a beautiful shape and a plain stem, with no gimcrackery. Savinelli at its best. Three thumbs up.

Thanks RB, my friend said..." it's a beauty, the briar is perfect "! Also mentioned...NO fills. The 320 models are my favorite shape on a Savinelli.

Thanks Rande, I do have a Savinelli Trevi Rustic 320 KS and it smokes fabulously.

I'm looking forward to smoking this pipe, the Trevi broke in fast. The one I'll be getting is the smooth natural, which I believe costs over three times what I paid for the rusticated Trevi. But @ 60% off my friend said it was the perfect gift for me. He's a Dr friend I've known many years and can afford it....lol. I spend a few hours a week ( 6 to 9 hours ) logging into his server making sure all is up to date, removing corrupt files and his data is backing up properly. Never charged him a dime...that's what friends do. He tells me..." I treat you better then my wife "! My response that made him laugh historically on FaceTime...." you won't be using any of my orifices "!! Coffee shot out his nose....lol. Anytime I need him he's only a phone call away king king

I think your right, my Trevi 320 is an excellent smoking pipe. All the Savinelli 320 series pipes, every pipe smoker seems to enjoy.

I too have noticed that. The diameter of the chamber and a chubby pipe. I've noticed most of my chubby pot pipes smoke Flake tobacco's the best for me, but everyone is different.

Thanks Lou, just received the pipe late last night. Heard a knock at the door close to midnight and it was my good friend. On the other side of the door was me and my 1911, nobody knocks on my door that late without calling, but it was worth waking up too!!
Going to smoke it for the first time in about 15 minutes cheers cheers

What? He even hand delivered it? Whatta pal! Good thing you didn't empty the clip into the door. You might have damaged the pipe, and that would be horrible.

Yup, that's what friends do, just wished he called first. When his Linux server started beeping on an early morning back in 2013, I had to hot swap one of the hard drives that had bad sectors. All @ NO charge. Friends usually help each other with no questions asked, now family...that's another story....they expect it.....lol

PS
Smoked perfectly on its maiden voyage.
