Yup, Mark is a class act. Glad you had the opportunity to visit his world headquarters Dallas, and look forward to your pics. Thanks for sharing a great story!

Cool

Cheers,

RR

That is an awesome story, Dallas, and I'm not at all surprised--Mark seems like a damn fine gentleman. Can't wait for the action shots, either, and welcome to the Bob!

How is your Tinsky smoking?? Thanks to a Brother on the BoB I was able to pick one up at a very reasonable price!!
Will be shipped once I pay on the 15th. I've always wanted a Tinsky cheers cheers

KEEP ON PUFFING!!!

Better late than never (as usual, where I'm concerned): yeah, it's smoking like a dream! Am a pretty infrequent puffer, alas, so still breaking it in, really, but it's definitely smoking like a champ right out of the gate. Mark doesn't pre-coat his bowls, either, so I'm enjoying that faint woodiness of breaking in a new briar.

Hope you enjoy yours, it's a real beauty and I'm sure Dave kept it pristine. Was eyeing it myself--I definitely intend to pick up more of Mark's pipes when I'm a little more flush, and in the meantime my wallet is relieved your willpower gave out before mine Wink
