Slow mentioned I needed a lathe. I actually do use it for something other than a sander/buffer! Here’s a hollow vessel urn I did. 3/16” wall and same for the lid. Hollow vessels are fun but tedious to do. It’s made from laminated #2 black walnut.

Nice work. I'd be happy to have my remains kept in an urn like that one!
