hello everyone, i`ve been looking for a nice liverpool for a while now. it seems that there are`nt many made to start with. a lot that i`ve seen did`nt suit my concept of a liverpool and or were kind of chunky. for my taste, i think a liverpool should be sleek. when i saw this in an email, i had to strike quickly as the other of the two went quickly. the email from smoking pipes.com was for this and other new tom eltang pipes. i don`t think you`ll go wrong with tom eltang. the pipe reminds me of the old comoy`s pipes in that it`s sleek and elegant looking. can`t wait to get the pipe. bill

I bought a Tom Eltang Liverpool about 2 years ago and dedicated it to McClelland Beacon Extra, and that little tiger will give me an hour of pure smoking heaven every time. You're going to fall head over heels for that pipe in all its understated beauty.

Lovely shape, that. Looks like a billiard that's just passed through a black hole.

Nice finish too.

I really like the long shank on it. †What's the difference between a Liverpool and a
Canadian style pipe?

there are 4 variations on this shape:

liverpool: round/circular shank with a tapered bit

Lovat: round/circular shank with a saddle bit

Canadian: oblong/oval shank with a tapered bit

Lumberman: oblong/oval shank with a saddle bit

personally im a huge fan of the liverpool and lovat family; something about long round shanks just looks so great!
