Got two of the new straight C&D cobs. One for lats and one for non aro purposes. Also some night train, poplar camp, bow legged bear, Peterson 1865 mixture and gold block (my word!) haha.

Had a house credit of about 50$ on Smokingpipes, so this all came rather cheaply. Never had the pleasure of tasting any of these. Also, the new cobs are very well done. Smoke as good as they ought to, and the stems are a great touch.

I really like the Charles Towne cob. I wasn't quick enough to order it and I hope they
have a run of it again.

It ought to be, they very nearly grow on trees lol. Also, I watched the video on Smokingpipesí blog concerning them. If you havenít, theyíre not a limited item and the C&D line of cobs is going to expand. They made a limited number of shapes to get them going. I would imagine they are going to get better.

On a side note, I bet one is going to be a volcano. Just need to drill the Mark Twain upside down, right?

Iíve been smoking mine at work this week. The bit it pretty nice, and otherwise itís cob. Smokes better than with the standard stem, may be a bit more open too. Not afraid to lose it either. Totally worth 20$.
