Nice haul, Michael.

Never had the Yuck. Is it a strong in nicotine as some folks claim?

Good grab on the Royal Yacht, you want to keep grabbing as many as you can before it disappears.

Chris, I never smoked coffin nails (OK I tried a few times but didn't inhale as I could never understand why anyone would want to. In any case the taste was foul.)

So I'm not used to nor appreciate the effects of lady nic to any noticeable degree. And Royal Yacht did not wind me up, even on an empty stomach. Strong flavour, yes. But maybe 7 on a 1-10 scale. I rather enjoyed it.

FWIW.

Cheers,

RR

monbla, all Dunhill tobacco is disappearing because Dunhill is getting out of the tobacco business, along with their pipes. I don't want to link to another site but this has been talked about for quite some time.

Dunhill has been out of the tobacco buidness for the last few years. They no longer sell any tobacco products at Dunhill stores including in London. They now sell the tobacco and pipes at The White Spot shops. In fact their pipes are now called The White Spot. They no longer blend their own tobaccos, rather they have others do it under their label. Royal Yacht is one of their top selling blends so I don't see it going away anytime soon. Remember, Murray blended their tinned tobaccos for years. The only tobacco they have blended was the blends available in bulc at the old Dunhill stores  Twisted Evil Twisted Evil

You are not understanding me. They are getting put of the pipe and tobacco business for good and have announced it to all their retailers. They are however keeping their cigarette business. You can call SP or PC and confirm this. Here is one story, that only talks about the pipes and cigars.

If you check all the other pipe forums, you will see threads regarding this.

I loaded up on my 2 favorite Dunhill Blends ( Navy Rolls and Flake ) years ago so it doesn't matter to me. With the FDA thing going on there are going to be a lot more blends that disappear after 2021. People should plan on grabbing their favorites now while the getting is good.
