Although Iíve been somewhat absent in posting on these pages of late due to medical issues I still have a few pipes each day and stop to see what is going on.

Our weather is still unpredictable but getting enough good portions of the day Iím reacquainting myself with some of my metal pipes that Iíve customized with Meerschaum bowls, specifically a Falcon Shillelagh with bright shank and white stem sporting a tankard style bowl and a Kirsten M bent sporting a Cracked Egg bowl, my hope is to get some serious coloration before the warmer weather finally comes.

You all probably know I really enjoy a well made Cutty and this pencil shank with yellowish Bakelite stem and plateau canted bowl by Bruce Weaver hits all those heart string pulls for me, itís on layaway at the moment but cannot wait until itís in hand for its first smoke, hope all are well, regards.

Really sorry to hear your health has continued to be an issue and sending good thoughts your way...and really, really glad you're still able to enjoy pipes, and that beauty in particular! I also favor cuttys and this one in particular is gorgeous, really love the fusion of classic tavern pipe esthetic with the pleateau top! Hope you get to break it in soon.

Thatís really an interesting rustication on that one. Looks like Dino skin. And the natural plateau rim...very nice indeed.

Thought it was a Scotty at first glance. Looks kinda like her work.

Small wonder youíre pining away for it.

PS: Get well you slacker. We wonít tolerate another sicky around here. Really...all our best thoughts going your way for a completely healthy future. And if thatís not entirely possible...we wish you really good drugs.

That was my first thought too. Quite a beautiful pipe, indeed.
