PostSubject: Major cookie monster score   Tue Jan 20, 2009 8:55 pm

A local store was clearing out its rack of Christmas stuff at 50% off, and just when I walked past I saw a lady change the sign to say, "90% off already marked-down price".

affraid

Result? My inner cookie monster broke free and piled 26 one pound tins of Danish butter cookies in the cart. All it would hold. Laughing

A YEAR'S worth of om nom nom for $6.50. No sales tax on food in North Dakota, either.

cheers

Will it matter if they do? I'm ahead after eating 1.3 tins. (Which at my present rate of consumption will be in about an hour. Twisted Evil )

Milk, coffee, they're a great, light crunch. I like a smear of Nuttella on them.

The only thing I like better is the Scottish shortbread. Sure would like to find those at 90% off. What a Face
